Obituary of Ruth Munoz

Ruth Munoz(Cuca) was born in Imperial Valley, CA on September 9, 1918 and lived in Carpinteria for over 80 years. Ruth died peacefully surrounded by her family on December 12, 2011. Ruth's passion was volunteering at the Senior Center in Carpinteria, Ca and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Esperanza Lopez, Gloria Mendez, Joe Aguirre, Mariano Munoz, Jr., Anna Martinez, Ruben Munoz, Diana Munoz, Rosemary Munoz and Irma Hoover. She was a loving grandmother to her 46 grandchildren (including great-grand children and great-great grandchildren). Mom and Grandma, we will miss you greatly and you will live in our hearts and memories forever. We are at peace knowing that you are another angel in heaven. Friends and family are invited to attend Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Mission Chapel on Ash and 7th in Carpinteria on Friday, December 16th at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Santa Barbara Hospice.
