Anne Lloyd Francis Born September 16, 1930 Ossining, NY Passed away January 02, 2011 Montecito, CA Anne Francis passed away early in the evening of January 2, 2011 at the age of 80. With friends and family by her side she passed peacefully due to complications from a recent diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer; Anne had successfully battled Lung Cancer in 2007-08. She leaves behind 2 loving daughters; Maggie and Jane, son in law Rob and grandson Brian. Anne will be greatly missed by her friends and family as well as a world of admirers. Known to many for her outstanding performances as Honey West and for her role in the Forbidden Planet; countless movies and television programs for over 70 years she leaves behind a legacy. Aside from being a pioneer for women in television Anne was also the first single woman to adopt a baby (Maggie) in 1970; a true inspiration. The family of Anne Francis wishes to express its deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and prayers from the community. Please understand that her memorial will be a private family affair, but we hope you will use this website to continue sharing your fond memories of our beloved Mom and Grandma.
