Obituary of Annie Munoz

Our beloved mother Annie“Lopez”Munoz, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on October 18^th, 2018. Annie was born and raised on June 19^th, 1936 in Santa Barbara to Julio & Josefina Lopez. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jose “Chabelo” Munoz, her 6 children Jose Munoz (Corina), Martha Munoz, Rey Munoz (Vicky), Teresa Munoz, Lalo Munoz (Stephanie), Liza Munoz, 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Annie loved God, walked in grace and love for everyone who crossed her path and loved helping the less fortunate. Her prize possession was her family; she loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She left behind a legacy to be compassionate toward others and to always walk in love for one another. We will all have many fond memories of her being there for each one of us; she had an amazing smile, and would make anyone feel welcomed and loved.

The rosary will be on Friday, October 26^th at 7:00pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 21 East Sola St, Santa Barbara. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 27^th at 10:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows. Annie will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery 199 N. Hope Ave, Santa Barbara.
